Beside the wonderful peaceful ambience of the house. The friendliness of its hosts, it should be noted the beds and pillows were superbly comfortable. That to us, as I presume, to so many others, is so important.
Echoing everyone else, it is the perfect place to stay, and ideally located for all the amenities.
Lyn and Mark are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room. Short walk into Llandudno, my husband has mobility issues but even he found the walk OK. Great breakfast, nice lounge where you can sit and relax with a drink. Can’t wait for our next visit.
Had a relaxing 3 day stay for a short break and stayed in room 11 which had a fabulous bathroom and luxurious bath!!!!! Lyn and Mark were fabulous host’s and served a good choice of breakfasts really enjoys the fresh fruit and yogurt whilst hubby had full English!! Would certainly recommend this high class B and B and will be back!!!!
We had a three night stay at this lovely B&B. Lyn and Mark were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room (14) had all we needed for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and as we were at the back of the house it was very quiet. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of variety and the breakfast room is stunning, beautifully laid out and decorated. The house is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and front. A few extras such as a fridge outside the door with fresh milk and bottled water each day were very welcome. We will certainly be returning and can highly recommend it to others. 5*
We just had a 2 night stay, Lyn and Mark were wonderful hosts, we had a couple of requests which they sorted without question, hubby had a safe place to leave his push bike. You can tell they are experienced hosts they think of everything to make your stay the best. Lovely breakfast. 10/10
Had a wonderful stay for our Ruby wedding anniversary. The owners Mark and Lynn are lovely friendly people and even had an anniversary card on our table for us when we went for breakfast.
On arrival we were given a cup of coffee and welsh cakes, also Belgian chocolates in our room each day.
We will definitely be going back.

A warm welcome from Mark and Lyn on arrival. Clean, spacious rooms with lovely views from the front and rear of the B&B. Beautifully cooked breakfast in the morning and all within walking distance to the shops, bars, sea front and cable car for the great orme!
Had a lovely short break at the Bryn Derwen .mark and lyn made us feel very welcome . lovely room and must say I did enjoy the chocolates 🥰 . The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. we love Landudno and had a enjoyable break.
Had a lovely 3 night stay recently. Lyn and Mark make you feel welcome from the minute you walk through the door. All covid measures explained and in place. They deserve their 5 star rating. Breakfast great. Rooms spotless as were all the other areas The extra little touches chocolates by the bed, bubble bath ready for a nice long soak when we arrived. Great knowledge of the area. A beautiful 5* Bed & Breakfast in the wonderful town of Llandudno, North Wales. With fine restaurants, bars, shops, beaches and a theatre all within easy walking distance, Bryn Derwen is the ideal choice for bed and breakfast.
1. The front entrance is approached via two upward steps then follow the short path and climb an additional six stone steps up to the main entrance.
2. The main entrance takes you into a hallway. Take one step up through a further doorway into the main lounge which is level throughout.
3. The car park with allocated bays is at the rear of the building. Access to the building from the car park is via two downward steps then follow the downward sloping pathway going down four more steps through the French doors into the main Lounge.
4. A porterage service is available for luggage.
5. There are NO bedrooms at a ground floor level and NO public toilet in any of the public areas.
6. All bedrooms are at first and second storey level. Access to the first floor rooms is via 17 steps to a landing and then an additional 6 steps to the first floor rooms. For second floor rooms there are an additional 11 steps to a landing and then a further 10 steps. There is no lift available.
7. A large print menu can be provided by prior arrangement.
Room 14 is a “Classic Double” situated at the rear of the house with views of Haulfre gardens and the Great Orme. The colour scheme is deep purple and vanilla with an en suite shower room.
Room 11 is a “Select Double” situated at the rear of the house with views of Haulfre Gardens and the Great Orme. It has lemon walls and rich gold and green accessories. It is the only room in the house to have the luxury of an en suite bath with shower over so that you can relax and unwind in some bubbles until your heart is content.
Room 9 is one of our “Select Twin” room which can also be configured to be a “Super king” when requested at the time of booking, situated at the front of the house. This room is light and airy where the views over the Llandudno skyline and surrounding hills can be seen from one of the two windows; one in the bedroom and the other in the large en suite shower room.
Decorated in subtle tones of blue and cream you can relax in one of the two easy chairs around the coffee table enjoying the complimentary drinks and chocolates.
Room 7 is a “Classic Double” located at the front of the house with views of the Llandudno skyline and the surrounding hills decorated in subtle silvery taupe and is light and airy with an en suite shower room.
Room 6 is a “Classic Twin” room which can also be configured to be a “Super King” when requested at the time of booking. Situated at the rear of the house with views of the woods that form part of the Great Orme. Decorated in a warm Taupe colour with matching bedding, co-ordinating curtains and soft furnishings. It has an en suite shower room and is available for single occupancy.
Room 5 is one of our “Select Twin” room which can also be configured to be a “Super king” when requested at the time of booking. Located at the rear of the house with views of one of the many wooded areas on the Great Orme and our own well stocked gardens.
A spacious room with en-suit shower, decorated in a soothing classic gold and tartan furnishings where you can relax in one of the two easy chairs around the coffee table enjoying the complimentary drinks and chocolates.
Room 4 is a “Small Classic King” room that can also be let for single occupancy. It is located at the side of the house and is tastefully decorated having classic gold drapes and bedding with matching soft furnishings in a golden silk shade. It has an en suite shower room and is light and airy.
Room 3 is our first floor “Premier King” room decorated in warm rich red and gold with designer drapes.
Located at the front of the house, this room benefits from having two large windows, one being a bay making it feel very light and airy.
Along with the en suite bathroom, this room has the added feature of a separate seating area for relaxing with that glass of wine or late night cup of chocolate whilst watching the TV.
